I absolutely love and respect Dr. Graef. He is kind, patient, and compassionate to animals and people. I dread the day that he retires completely. He has cared for my animals for 12 years now. He also has some wonderful and sensitive staff. Over the years, I have had to get their help to aid my pets over the Rainbow Bridge. All of the staff showed respect and consideration for my pets and me. They even carried my dogs out to my truck and gently placed them inside for me. These were not big, heavy dogs. They were small and very old. But, they still offered to carry them out. Dr. Graef doesn't do a lot of unnecessary testing. As an RN, I certainly believe in testing when it is needed. But, some vets go overboard, which adds to the cost. I am going to the clinic today, to buy heartworm pills for my 3 dogs. His office does not charge as much as other places. Can't say enough good things about this veterinary hospital.
